Immersive Performance Essentials
A one-day intensive for performers, drama students, and theatre-makers who want to work in immersive and participatory contexts.
You'll learn how to read a room, hold character under pressure, manage consent in interactive work, and turn audience awkwardness into creative fuel. We cover the skills traditional drama training doesn't: eye contact as an offer, proximity as a tool, and how to make participation feel like an invitation rather than a demand.
Suitable for: Drama school students and graduates, professional actors upskilling, community performers
Length: 1 day (10am–5pm)
Format: In-person, studio-based (Bristol)
Group size: 8–16 participants
Cost: £95 per person
Walkabout Performance
Learn the art of working a crowd with no fourth wall, no stage, and no script.
Drawing on our award-winning walkabout show Adventures of Susann the Robot, this workshop teaches the essentials of street-scale performance: finding your character's physical language, reading crowd energy, handling hecklers and unexpected interactions, and staying present when everything around you is chaos. Good for performers who already have a character or walkabout act and want to sharpen it.
Suitable for: Street theatre performers, festival artists, character performers, clowns
Length: 1 day (10am–5pm)
Format: In-person, outdoor/studio (Bristol)
Group size: 6–12 participants
Cost: £95 per person
Devising Immersive Theatre
A practical workshop for students and theatre-makers who want to create their own immersive or site-specific work.
We'll take your group through the process: starting with a space and a stimulus, building a world the audience can step into, designing moments of participation that feel earned rather than forced, and structuring an experience where the audience's choices genuinely shape the outcome. Suitable for GCSE, A-Level, and degree-level groups — we adapt the content to your curriculum and timescale.
Suitable for: KS4, KS5, undergraduate drama and performing arts students
Length: Half day, full day, or two-day programme
Format: In-school or at your venue
Group size: Up to 30 students per session
Cost: From £350 (half day) / £550 (full day)
Professionals at Play
We take the techniques of immersive performance — presence, playfulness, reading the room, building trust quickly — and apply them to the workplace.
Designed for teams and organisations, this workshop uses theatre games, improvisation, and facilitation exercises to develop communication, collaboration, and creative problem-solving. It's not roleplay. It's practical, energising, and evidence-led. We've delivered versions of this for corporate clients and can tailor it to your team's needs.
Suitable for: Corporate teams, L&D groups, leadership programmes
Length: Half day or full day
Format: On-site at your workplace or hired venue
Group size: 8–24 participants
Cost: From £850 (half day) / £1,500 (full day)
Teacher CPD: Drama and Participation in the Classroom

Suitable for: Primary and secondary teachers, drama subject leads, trainee teachers
Length: Half day or full day INSET
Format: In-school
Group size: Up to 30 staff
Cost: From £400 (half day) / £700 (full day)
